So as to not completely lose steam on finally getting my blog up and running, I think I’ll just make a quick little post highlighting some stuff that I’ve finished recently. Like everyone else, I have a pile of potential to work through, and it has just grown expontentially.
Today I present to you some Stargrave Miniatures that I’ve finished. I originally got them as part of the Nickstarter for when the game launched, some three years ago. I got them because I loved their overall design, so it seemed silly to have them languish in the to-do pile!
First up is this Mystic, that I painted up as a test piece for my new Fanatic Paints from The Army Painter. I really like them, even if they take some getting used to, and I think this is one of my best pieces of the year as well – so that’s a ringing endorsement right there!
My next one was this Hacker that I really loved the sculpt of, but just couldn’t get the skin to work on. I think I did something wrong with the primer, or maybe didn’t thin the paints enough? Anyway, I still love her and she’s now ready to hopefully see the battlefield one day soon!
